Hi there, I'm Tommy Tran Duc Thang - a Senior DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineer from Ha Noi, Viet Nam, specializing in creating scalable infrastructure solutions for large enterprises, primarily on AWS. I'm proficient in developing/designing Internal Developer Portals (IDPs) with cloud native solution.
Recognized as a top performer, I received the FHN (Fsoft Hanoi) Best Performer Award in 2023.
My expertise includes AWS, Terraform, various DevOps tools, observability stacks, and K8s. I'm proficient in Terraform, Cloudformation, Bash, Golang, JS/TS. With excellent understanding, and experience for K8s and developing K8s native solution and customizing opensource code ( e.g: I customized kubevela opensource code).
With extensive CI/CD experience using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline, I specialize in implementing observability platforms like Opentelemetry, Loki, Jaeger, Prometheus, and Grafana, along with knowledge in ELK and Datadog.
I'm experience with creating devkit (development tools for enhancing developer experience) with agnostic CI, local development, etc

This project is for a machine configuration as code which is mainly for customizing neovim for the need of myself - I'm a vim enthusiast user :) what can I say. With a simple command, I can configure any machine spans across many platform such as Windows, Linux, MacOS to the environment that I am familiar with.
This project create a specific Neovim environment from scratch using Lua - a powerful, efficient, lightweight, embeddable scripting language. This project built on top of LazyVim - author: folke.
This project is an application that uses computer vision to check student attendance. Which including microservices for backend, mobile application for frontend, and computer vision for checking attendance. This is large project that I am working on for over a year.
Not only that, this project also includes a lot of other technologies such as: AWS infrastructure, Terraform, K8s, Helm, EKS, CI/CD,... and many more. This is a mature project, which I can start selling for schools and universities. The whole systems is packaged as IaC (Infrastructure as Code). So that I can setup the system for any customer with just a single command.
For now, the project is in Private mode, but I will make it public soon.
I was having a personal webpage hosting using wordpress but that sucks. So I decided to build my own webpage from scratch, and lately, I found interesting in 3D webpages. So I decided to build a 3D webpage for my own portfolio. This project is written in HTML, CSS, and JS. It uses ThreeJS for 3D rendering. This is a good opportunity for me to learn how to build 3D webpages :]. This webpage you are seeing is the result of this project.
For now, the project is in Private mode, but I will make it public soon. I'm currently adding some features for floating buttons, and some other cool stuffs, including a blog page as well =]]].
This project is for educational purpose, which is to understand how object detection works. The algorithm is simple, but it is a good start for anyone who wants to understand how object. The project is written in Python, and it uses OpenCV for image processing.
The project is currently available for anyone who wants to learn about object detection. The documentation for this project is also available. I wrote it quite detailed so that anyone can understand it.
This project I wrote quite a long time ago, when I was still a student. Why I need use a music bot somewhere else, while I can write my own music bot ^^. This project is written in JS, and it uses Discord API for bot interaction.
You can use this bot to play music, and do some other things such as: skip, pause, resume, ... However, this project is not maintained anymore, and youtube changed thier policy. So you only can use this bot to play music from soundcloud.
This projects is for educational purpose, which is to understand how AI works. The algorithm used is "Min-Max Searching" with "Alpha-Beta Pruning". The project is written in Python, and it uses Pygame for game rendering.
You can use this bot to play chess with AI. The AI is quite stupid :D, and you can beat you easily. But it is a good start for anyone who wants to understand how AI works.
This projects is for educational purpose, which is to understand how OOP works. This project I wrote quite a long time ago, when I was still a student. The project is written in Java, and for game rendering, It mostly use algorithm to draw the game - quite hardcore :D.
